Michigan High School Lacrosse - Portage Central drops to Pinckney
April 6, 2024: Pinckney, MI 48169 Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI), 16-6 in a non-league battle.
The Pirates now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Dexter for a Division 2 District 7 battle on Monday, April 8. Pinckney will clash with a Dreadnaughts squad coming off a 11-7 non-league win over Lakeland (White Lake, MI). The Dreadnaughts record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Northview Wildcats (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 9. Portage Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 11-2 league win over Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI).
