April 6, 2024: Plato, MO 65552 The Clever Blue Jays routed the host Plato Eagles softball squad by a count of 11-6 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Blue Jays (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Bakersfield (Bakersfield, MO). The Lions go into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Bakersfield nudged Summersville (Summersville, MO), 14-12, in a league battle.
The Eagles now sport a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Stoutland for a non-league battle on Monday, April 8. Plato will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Licking (Licking, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
