Tennessee High School Softball - Clinton bounces Unicoi County
April 6, 2024: Erwin, TN 37650 The Clinton Dragons (Clinton, TN) softball the host Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN), 7-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Dragons (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Macon-East Montgomery Academy was routed by Ezekiel Academy (Montgomery, AL), 5-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Unicoi County falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Blue devils host David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN) to battle the Pioneers in a 3A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 14-7. David Crockett lost 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Alcoa (Alcoa, TN)
