New Jersey High School Softball - Hanover Park nudges Paramus Catholic
April 6, 2024: East Hanover, NJ 07936 Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Morris Catholic for a NJAC - Liberty challenge on Monday, April 8. Hanover Park will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Paramus Catholic falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Paladins travel to DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ) to face the Spartans in a Big North - United challenge on Monday, April 8. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. DePaul Catholic won 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ)
