Minnesota High School Softball - La Crescent bounces Houston
April 6, 2024: Houston, MN 55943 La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Houston Hurricanes (Houston, MN), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Lancers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cotter for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. La Crescent will face a Ramblers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Caledonia (Caledonia, MN). The Ramblers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Houston falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander (Grand Meadow, MN) to face the Superlarks in a Southeast challenge on Monday, April 8. The Superlarks enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander won 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN)
