Missouri High School Softball - Kennett bounces West County
April 6, 2024: Leadwood, MO 63601 Kennett Indians (Kennett, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host West County Bulldogs (Leadwood, MO), 22-12 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caruthersville for a Class 2 District 1 challenge on Monday, April 8. Kennett will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 14-12 non-league loss to Twin Rivers (Broseley, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, West County falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Scott City (Scott City, MO) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Scott City won 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Bernie (Bernie, MO)
