April 6, 2024: Lyndhurst, NJ 07071 The Union City Soaring Eagles routed the host Lyndhurst Golden Bears softball squad by a final score of 17-4 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Soaring Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Kearny (Kearny, NJ). The Kardinals go into the HCIAL - American battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Kearny topped North Bergen (North Bergen, NJ), 11-6, in a league battle.
The Golden Bears now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Secaucus for a NJIC - National battle on Monday, April 8. Lyndhurst will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 21-4 league win over Harrison (Harrison, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.
