The North Haven Nighthawks routed the host New Milford Green Wave softball squad by a count of 9-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Nighthawks (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lauralton Hall (Milford, CT). The Crusaders go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Lauralton Hall nudged Stamford (Stamford, CT), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Green Wave now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to New Fairfield for a non-league battle on Monday, April 8. New Milford will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 9-5 non-league win over Wamogo Regional (Litchfield, CT). The Rebels record now stands at 2-0.
