In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Omaha Westside Warriors baseball team scored a close 9-4 win over the Columbus Discoverers.

The Warriors (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE). The Bluejay go into the non-league game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Creighton Prep nudged Rockhurst (Kansas City, MO), 7-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Discoverers play the Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 9. Columbus will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Chieftains go into the game with a 8-5 record after their 19-3 non-league win over Benson (Omaha, NE).
