In Monday's non-league bout, the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY), by a tally of 11-1.

Next up, the Lakers encounter the St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 8. Mercyhurst Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 10-5 non-league win over Apollo (Owensboro, KY).
