Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) followers left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL), 12-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Normal University moves its record to 11-1 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL) to battle the Crimsons in a Central State Eight match on Wednesday, April 8. The Crimsons come into the match with a record of 7-4.
