The St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT) softball nipped the visiting St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY), 5-4 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Cadets now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgefield for a Fairfield County outing on Saturday, April 11. St. Joseph will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Immaculate (Danbury, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, St. Anthony's moves to 4-1 on the season. The Friars host Xaverian (Brooklyn, NY) to encounter the Clippers in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 9. The Clippers come into the outing with a record of 2-0.
