California High School Baseball - Polytechnic holds off Rio Hondo Prep
April 7, 2022: Arcadia, CA 91066 Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA), 10-6 in a league test.
With the win, Polytechnic upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Panthers host Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA) to battle the Dolphins in a Prep test on Tuesday, April 12. The Dolphins come into the test with a record of 7-3. Chadwick won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA)
With the defeat, Rio Hondo Prep falls to 9-6 on the season. The Kares travel to Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA) to battle the Wolves in a Prep test on Wednesday, April 13. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 15-4. Flintridge Prep lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Monrovia (Monrovia, CA)
