April 7, 2022: Glendale, AZ 85303 Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ), 9-8 in a league test.
With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Patriots host North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Rattlers in a test on Friday, April 8. The Rattlers come into the test with a record of 0-1. North Canyon lost 10-1 in their recent league test against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ)
With the defeat, Fairfax falls to 2-4 on the season. The Stampede host Central (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Bobcats in a test on Friday, April 8. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 0-8. Central lost 25-5 in their recent non-league test against Independence (Glendale, AZ)
