April 7, 2022: Edwards, CO 81632 Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Glenwood Springs Demons (Glenwood Springs, CO), 5-3 in a non-league test.
The Huskies now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 12. Battle Mountain will face a Spartans squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Denver South (Denver, CO). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the Demons face the Grand Junction Tigers (Grand Junction, CO) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 8. Glenwood Springs will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 19-5 non-league win over Durango (Durango, CO).
