Kansas High School Softball - Yates Center bounces Marmaton Valley
April 7, 2022: Yates Center, KS 66783 Yates Center Wildcats (Yates Center, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Marmaton Valley Wildcats (Moran, KS), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Altoona-Midway for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11. Yates Center will battle a Jets squad coming off a 25-0 league loss to Northeast (Arma, KS). The Jets record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Marmaton Valley falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Northeast (Arma, KS) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. Northeast won 25-0 in their recent league challenge against Altoona-Midway (Buffalo, KS)
