Georgia High School Baseball - Decatur can't hold off Cartersville
April 7, 2023: Cartersville, GA 30120 The Cartersville Hurricanes baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Decatur Bulldogs to 2 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Friday.
The Hurricanes (21-2) will now prepare for their match against Cass (White, GA). The Colonels go into the 5A Area 7 match with a 10-12 record. In their last match, Cass was edged by Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA), 7-6, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (14-6) will now prepare for their match against Tucker (Tucker, GA). The Tigers go into the 5A Area 4 match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, Tucker was edged by Chamblee (Chamblee, GA), 11-1, in a league match.
