April 7, 2023: Nashville, TN 37204 Lipscomb Academy Mustangs (Nashville, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lakota East Thunderhawks (Liberty Township, OH), 12-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lipscomb Academy upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN) to battle the Lions in a D II-AA Middle test on Saturday, April 8. The Lions come into the test with a record of 3-2.
With the defeat, Lakota East falls to 0-2 on the season. The Thunderhawks host Andrean (Merrillville, IN) to battle the Fighting 59ers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 8. The Fighting 59ers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Andrean won 13-0 in their recent non-league test against Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN)
