April 7, 2023: Marietta, GA 30062 The Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) baseball trounced the host Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA), 8-2 in Friday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Trojans play the Blessed Trinity Titans (Roswell, GA) in a 6A Area 7 contest, on Monday, April 10. Lassiter will attempt to better on its 16-8 season record. The Titans enter the contest with a 20-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA).
The Raiders now sport a 13-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cherokee for a 7A Area 5 contest on Monday, April 10. Walton will play a Warriors squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 20-3.
