Alabama High School Softball - Thompson bounces Auburn
April 7, 2023: Auburn, AL 36830 The Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL) softball routed the host Auburn Tigers (Auburn, AL), 9-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Warriors (24-6) will now prepare for their bout against Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL). The Huskies go into the non-league bout with a 26-5 record. In their last bout, Hewitt-Trussville was routed by Central (Phenix City, AL), 12-9, in a non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 20-4 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a 7A Area 4 bout on Tuesday, April 11. Auburn will confront a Red Devils squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Thompson (Alabaster, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 24-5.
