April 7, 2025: Winchester, MA 01890 Newton South Lions (Newton, MA) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Winchester Red & Black (Winchester, MA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Newton South advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions host Boston Latin Academy (Dorchester, MA) to face the Dragons in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 9. The Dragons go into the test with a record of 3-3. Boston Latin Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA)
The Red & Black now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Burlington for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 8.
