The Newark Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) flag football knocked off the visiting Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers (Newark, NJ), 20-6 in Monday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. Newark Central will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 33-7 league win over Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ).
