The Helix Highlanders lacrosse team (La Mesa, CA), was tipped 8-7 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders (Chula Vista, CA)

With the victory, Mater Dei Catholic advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Crusaders travel to San Ysidro (San Diego, CA) to encounter the Cougars in a Metro Mesa test on Tuesday, April 8. The Cougars enter the test with a record of 4-4. San Ysidro won 7-3 in their recent non-league test against Heritage (Menifee, CA)
