Kentucky High School Baseball - South Laurel defeats Jackson County
April 7, 2025: London, KY 40744 The South Laurel Cardinals baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Jackson County Generals to 2 in the Cardinals non-league win on Monday.
The Cardinals now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boyle County for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. South Laurel will play a Rebels team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Jackson County drops to 0-2 on the year. The Generals travel to Corbin (Corbin, KY) to play the Redhounds in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. The Redhounds go into the test with a record of 2-1. Corbin lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach, FL)
