New York High School Lacrosse - Fordham Prep overwhelms Hackley
April 7, 2025: Bronx, NY 10458 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY) and the visiting Hackley Hornets (Tarrytown, NY), witnessed Fordham Prep's lacrosse squad top Hackley by a count of 11-1.
The Rams (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY). The Gaels enter the Catholic - Island contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Iona Prep beat Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ), 7-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Hornets meet the Horace Mann Lions (Riverdale, NY) in a PSAL Area Ivy contest, on Wednesday, April 9. Hackley will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 20-15 league loss to Poly Prep Country Day (Brooklyn, NY).
