Illinois High School Lacrosse - Hersey nudges Schaumburg
April 7, 2025: Arlington Heights, IL 60004 The Hersey Huskies lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the visiting Schaumburg Saxons to 7 in the Huskies league triumph on Monday.
The Huskies now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palatine for a Mid Suburban challenge on Thursday, April 10. Hersey will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Schaumburg falls to 4-2 on the year. The Saxons host Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to clash with the Knights in a Mid Suburban challenge on Thursday, April 10. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Prospect lost 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Barrington (Barrington, IL)
