Alabama High School Soccer - Hoover knocks off Pike Road
April 7, 2025: Pike Road, AL 36064 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) and the host Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL), saw Hoover's soccer squad knock off Pike Road by a score of 3-0.
The Buccaneers (15-1) will now prepare for their battle against Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL). The Rebels enter the 7A Area 6 battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Vestavia Hills tipped Leeds (Leeds, AL), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Park Crossing Thunderbirds (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 8. Pike Road will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the battle with a 3-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Russell County (Seale, AL).
