The Florence Gophers softball team scored 23 runs and held the host San Tan Foothills Sabercats to 9 in the Gophers non-league win on Monday.

The Gophers now possess a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seton Catholic for a 3A South Central battle on Tuesday, April 8.

With the loss, San Tan Foothills moves to 2-12 on the season. The Sabercats travel to Payson (Payson, AZ) to confront the Longhorns in a non-league battle on Friday, April 11. The Longhorns come into the battle with a record of 9-7.
