The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA) and the host First Flight Nighthawks (Outer Banks, NC), saw Kellam's baseball team gain a win over First Flight by a tally of 5-3.

The Knights (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Salem (Virginia Beach, VA). The Sundevils enter the Beach battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Salem by Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC), 12-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Nighthawks face the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 3A/4A/5A battle, on Tuesday, April 14. First Flight will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 2-9 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Perquimans County (Hertford, NC).
