The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets (Roanoke Rapids, NC) and the visiting Reidsville Rams (Reidsville, NC), saw Roanoke Rapids's baseball team gain a win over Reidsville by a tally of 11-1.

The Yellowjackets (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC). The Patriots enter the Quad County 2A/3A/4A battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, American Leadership Academy-Johnston prevailed over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC), 20-0, in a non-league battle.
