The Bloom Blazing Trojan softball squad (Chicago Heights, IL), was routed 17-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL)

With the triumph, Stagg improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Chargers host Lockport (Lockport, IL) to face the Porters in a SouthWest Suburban contest on Friday, April 10. The Porters enter the contest with a record of 8-3. Lockport won 13-1 in their recent league contest against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL)

The Blazing Trojan now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Joliet Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 11. Bloom will face a Steelmen squad coming off a 22-0 league loss to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 3-6.
