Texas High School Softball - Quanah bounces Claude
April 7, 2026: Claude, TX 79019 The Quanah Indians softball team scored 23 runs and held the host Claude Mustangs to 17 in the Indians league win on Tuesday.
The Indians now possess a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lockney for a 2A Region I District 2 battle on Friday, April 10. Quanah will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 13-10 league win over Clarendon (Clarendon, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-12.
With the loss, Claude moves to 0-13 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Kress (Kress, TX) to confront the Kangaroos in a 2A Region I District 2 battle on Friday, April 10. The Kangaroos come into the battle with a record of 0-4. Kress lost 22-2 in their recent non-league battle against Hermleigh (Hermleigh, TX)
