The Covington Fighting Lions the host Springfield Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 15-13 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Lions play the Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 8. Covington will attempt to upgrade on its 13-13 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 19-7 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Albany (Albany, LA).
