Massachusetts High School Softball - Reading Memorial bounces Melrose
April 8, 2022: Melrose, MA 02176 Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Melrose Red Raiders (Melrose, MA), 9-1 in a league challenge.
The Rockets now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Westport for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 12.
With the loss, Melrose falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Watertown (Watertown, MA) to face the Red Raiders in a Middlesex challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
