April 8, 2023: Liberty Township, OH 45044 The Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) baseball trounced the host Lakota East Thunderhawks (Liberty Township, OH), 11-2 in Saturday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Fighting 59ers encounter the Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads contest, on Monday, April 10. Andrean will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN).
The Thunderhawks now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Colerain for a Greater Miami contest on Monday, April 10. Lakota East will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Middletown (Middletown, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-1.
