Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA), 16-6 in a non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scranton for a Lackawanna 1 bout on Monday, April 10. Valley View will face a Knights team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 test, on Tuesday, April 11. Wyoming Area will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Northwest Area (Shickshinny, PA).
