Colorado High School Soccer - Golden knocks off Discovery Canyon
April 8, 2023: Golden, CO 80401 Golden Demons (Golden, CO) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Demons confront the D'Evelyn Jaguars (Denver, CO) in a 4A Jefferson County challenge, on Monday, April 10. Golden will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Littleton (Littleton, CO).
The Thunder now possess a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rampart for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Discovery Canyon will confront a Rams team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Rams record now stands at 3-2.
