In Saturday's non-league contest, the Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Start Spartans (Toledo, OH), by a margin of 11-1.

With the triumph, Defiance moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH) to play the Generals in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 8. The Generals come into the contest with a record of 3-0. Anthony Wayne won 13-0 in their recent non-league contest against Archbold (Archbold, OH)
