With the win, South Brunswick moves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to battle the Scorpions in a Mideastern 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, April 9. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 4-8. North Brunswick lost 1-0 in their recent league bout against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Hilltop Christian Chargers (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a NCCSA AA District 3 - East Region bout, on Monday, April 15. Wilmington Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 1-0 league win over Living Water Christian (Jacksonville, NC).
