Michigan High School Softball - Brethren bounces Mesick
April 8, 2024: Brethren, MI 49619 Spectators at Monday's league match between the Brethren Bobcats (Brethren, MI) and the visiting Mesick Bulldogs (Mesick, MI), witnessed Brethren's softball squad prevail over Mesick by a count of 15-5.
The Bobcats now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Onekama for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 10. Brethren will face a Portagers squad coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Hart (Hart, MI). The Portagers record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Mesick moves to 0-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Bear Lake (Bear Lake, MI) to face the Lakers in a West Michigan D match on Thursday, April 11. The Lakers go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Bear Lake lost 15-12 in their recent league battle against Mason County Eastern (Custer, MI)
