East Noble Knights (Kendallville, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Central Noble Cougars (Albion, IN), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warsaw for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9.

With the loss, Central Noble falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Fremont (Fremont, IN) to battle the Eagles in a Northeast Corner challenge on Tuesday, April 9.
