The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) and the visiting Northwood Timberwolves (Irvine, CA), saw El Modena's baseball team gain a win over Northwood by a tally of 6-1.

The Vanguards (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Trabuco Hills was overwhelmed by Millikan (Long Beach, CA), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
