Illinois High School Lacrosse - Carmel nipped by Benet Academy
April 8, 2025: Lisle, IL 60532 Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the visiting Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL), 8-7 in a league game.
With the victory, Benet Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Redwings host Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL) to play the Huskies in a non-league game on Thursday, April 10. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 1-0. Oak Park-River Forest won 11-3 in their recent non-league game against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL)
The Corsairs now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Libertyville for a non-league game on Monday, April 14. Carmel will play a Wildcats team coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
