Georgia High School Soccer - Cherokee nudges Southeast Whitfield County
April 8, 2025: Dalton, GA 30721 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA) and the host Southeast Whitfield County Raiders (Dalton, GA), saw Cherokee's soccer squad hold off Southeast Whitfield County by a count of 1-0.
The Warriors (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against King's Ridge Christian (Alpharetta, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, King's Ridge Christian was edged by The King's Academy (Woodstock, GA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Raiders battle the Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 12. Southeast Whitfield County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 10-5 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Woodward Academy (College Park, GA).
