Virginia High School Soccer - West Springfield toppled by Fairfax
April 8, 2025: Fairfax, VA 22030 Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), 6-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Fairfax moves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to McLean (McLean, VA) to clash with the Highlanders in a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 2-4. McLean lost 5-3 in their recent non-league test against James Madison (Vienna, VA)
The Spartans now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chantilly for a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. West Springfield will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Wakefield (Arlington, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 4-1.
