Virginia High School Lacrosse - Jefferson Forest overwhelms Albemarle
April 8, 2025: Charlottesville, VA 22901 The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) lacrosse routed the host Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), 11-4 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Cavaliers now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hidden Valley for a River Ridge outing on Thursday, April 10. Jefferson Forest will face a Titans squad coming off a 21-2 league loss to William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Titans record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Albemarle falls to 2-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to face the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson outing on Friday, April 11. The Flying Flucos go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Fluvanna County won 11-10 in their recent league outing against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA)
