Virginia High School Lacrosse - Mechanicsville drops to Godwin
April 8, 2025: Richmond, VA 23233 Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the visiting Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA), 12-4 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Godwin improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles host Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA) to play the Jaguars in a Colonial game on Thursday, April 10. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 1-2. Glen Allen lost 12-7 in their recent non-league game against Manchester (Midlothian, VA)
The Mustangs now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanover for a Capital game on Thursday, April 10. Mechanicsville will play a Hawks team coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-3.
