In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-3 triumph over the Western Guilford Hornets.

The Cowboys (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Bobcats go into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Glenn was overwhelmed by Davie (Mocksville, NC), 27-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Hornets meet the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro contest, on Wednesday, April 9. Western Guilford will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Whirlies go into the contest with a 5-8 record after their 18-5 league loss to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
