Oregon High School Softball - Marshfield sneaks past Brookings-Harbor
April 8, 2025: Coos Bay, OR 97420 The Marshfield Pirates (Coos Bay, OR) softball nipped the visiting Brookings-Harbor Bruins (Brookings, OR), 16-15 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Pirates now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Valley for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 10. Marshfield will encounter a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR). The Knights record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Brookings-Harbor moves to 6-4 on the season. The Bruins host Del Norte (Crescent City, CA) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league outing on Friday, April 11. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 9-1. Del Norte won 10-1 in their recent league outing against Arcata (Arcata, CA)
