April 8, 2025: Frankston, TX 75763 The Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX) softball nipped the visiting Trinidad Trojans (Trinidad, TX), 1-0 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Indians now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Avalon for a 1A Region III District 20 outing on Friday, April 11. Frankston will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 28-10 non-league win over Coolidge (Coolidge, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Trinidad moves to 0-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Kerens (Kerens, TX) to encounter the Bobcats in a 2A Region III District 20 outing on Thursday, April 17. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 15-8. Kerens won 10-2 in their recent league outing against Cayuga (Cayuga, TX)
